Pennsylvania, is a U.S. state spanning the Mid-Atlantic, Northeastern, and Appalachian regions of the United States. It is home to about 12 million people. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Pennsylvania has a highly diverse population. In the 2010 census, the state had just a little over one-third Hispanics. Hispanic immigration was due to a number of reasons, including migration from Central and South America, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. Hispanics from New York, where the cost of living is higher, also migrated to Pennsylvania.

The Asian population in Pennsylvania has also grown rapidly, increasing from 5.1% to 8.1% with the 2020 Census. While there are still relatively few Asians in Pennsylvania, the state is one of the most diverse states in the nation.There are 75 cities in the state with its capital being Harrisburg. It is made of 67 counties, 13 area codes and 1,792 zip codes.
